Good Morning Backers,
Last night we crossed the $50k mark, and we're closing in on 500 backers. ¡That means VIRTUE and THE 01 are less than $10k from being for reals! I can't express how thankful I am for all of your support. We need just one more small push to meet our funding goal (since all of our shoulders and backs have definitely recovered from 20.3 ;) Then we can stop going for time and turn this thing into a proper AMRAP.

Hi Backers & Followers,
It has been an incredible start to the campaign. In just over 48 hours you have helped us reach $40k, a full 2/3 of our funding goal! It’s humbling to see the community come out in such force for this project.
In my experience with functional fitness, community is the most common reason I hear that keeps someone training day after day, week after week, year after year. It’s certainly been that for me, and this is just proof positive. Thank you.

I have a little something extra to share with everyone today, too. A member of CrossFit Counter Culture in Encinitas, CA - which holds a special place in my heart as the first box I joined when I moved to California nearly 10 years ago - reached out to me because he’s running his own Kickstarter campaign to start a brand called Monday Gin (aren’t we just the entrepreneurial bunch.) With the two of us sharing the same passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle we figured our backers probably have overlapping interests, too.
With Monday they've created a booze-free gin for anyone that doesn’t want to choose between good health and great taste or feel left out when they're out for the night but just don't want to drink. They reached their funding goal in under 48 hours (¡props!) and still have 21 days to go. Please take a look at their campaign and if it's for you help out another member of the community. We're in if only for that money label ;)

Happy Friday everyone. It’s been a crazy crazy week. We hit 75% of our funding goal earlier today, and I really couldn’t have hoped for more support from our amazing community. Thank you. I know we can get that last 25% this weekend with your help. Once we’re there it’s on to our stretch goals so we can offer up those Plums and Limóns. Truly, thank you for everything so far. I’m off to get wrecked by 20.3 tonight.

¡We just hit 50% funding! This is HUGE for less than two days into the campaign, and I can't thank everyone enough for spreading the word, pledging, and just generally believing in VIRTUE. Next stop 100%. In the meantime, this has basically been the look on my face all morning.
