700+ shipments / e-store coming soon

700+ orders out the door

It has certainly been a crazy couple of months. Since the end of June I have shipped out over 700 orders and over 900 pairs of shoes to all you wonderful athletes. As of yesterday all outstanding orders and exchange requests should be out the door. I would like to personally thank everyone for their understanding and patience during shipping, especially those of you that requested exchanges.

VIRTUE e-store

I had hoped to include in this update the news that the virtueathletic.com e-store is up and running and that the remaining inventory of 01s are available for purchase. Unfortunately due to the threat of the northern California wildfires I have been forced to evacuate from Santa Cruz. Thus I don't have access to my inventory and will not be able to re-launch the site (and resume shipping shoes) for at least a week.

That said, once the store is up and running all Kickstarter backers will be offered a hefty discount as an extra thank you for your support throughout this entire process. I have not, and will not, forget that this brand wouldn't be here today without all of you. Thank you.

Orders are shipping

THE 01 is shipping!

Orders began going out yesterday morning. So far we've shipped well over 100 pairs of shoes to our wonderful backers, so keep an eye on your email over the next couple of weeks for your tracking information. International shipping is a bit more complicated logistically than domestic, so non-US backers should start see their orders en route toward the end of next week or the week after.

Good, great, wonderful afternoon backers,

Our full shipment of shoes has arrived safe and sound in Santa Cruz. We'll need a week or so to get everything unpacked, sorted, and double-checked, so look for the first batch of orders to start going out next week.

Thank you so much for your patience, support, and enthusiasm throughout this process. I can't wait to start dumping vanloads of shoes off at the post office.

THE 01 is stateside - shipping address confirmation coming soon

Good Morning Backers:

A quick but important update for you today. The first production run of THE 01 arrived in port in Los Angeles yesterday morning, narrowly avoiding a kraken attack while en-route across the Pacific. The shoes will take a couple of days to get unloaded and hopefully only need a few more to be cleared by US customs. Once that's all squared away they'll be on their way up to Santa Cruz and back out the door to you as quickly as possible.

We will be sending out a shipping address confirmation email shortly. The subject will read something like "Last call to update your shipping address for THE 01 from VIRTUE Athletic." Please double-check & confirm your shipping address, especially if you have moved since filling out your color & size surveys.

I can't wait to get THE 01 in your hands and on your feet.
