Happy Holidays Backers,
I want to thank you all one final time before the year comes to an end. Without you VIRTUE would not be a thing. Because of you we're rolling into a new year primed and ready to bring a fresh perspective to the functional fitness community. Thank you for believing.
On the nuts and bolts side of things over 85% of our backers have filled out their color and size surveys - extra thanks to those that have gone in for an add-on pair or two. For those that haven't gotten to their surveys, you still have until December 31 (next Tuesday) to get them in before we lock orders. Without your color and size choices we can't guarantee we'll be able to ship your shoes with the rest of the Kickstarter orders.
If you missed any of our survey emails, please message us here on Kickstarter or at [email protected], and we'll get you taken care of.

Good morning, backers:
Color and size surveys are on their way to all of our backers, so keep an eye on your email over the next few days for a message from VIRTUE Athletic ([email protected]). Along with choosing your colors and sizes, and verifying your shipping address, you'll have the opportunity to grab another pair or two of THE 01s at our discounted, pre-order pricing. As Kickstarter backers any additional pre-orders will ship at the same time as your originally pledged pairs.
Please complete your surveys no later than Tuesday December 31. At that time we'll lock in your choices and charge you for any additional pre-orders. Then just sit back and enjoy as we give you an inside look at the process of taking your pledge from an order in a spreadsheet to a pair of shoes at your doorstep.

Color & size surveys headed your way

Good news everyone!
We received our funds from Kickstarter this morning, which means surveys to choose your colors and sizes are headed to your email beginning later this week. Included in the surveys is a chance to verify your shipping address as well as to add-on any additional pairs so that your and your friends can be included in our first production order and get your 01s as quickly as possible.
We need all survey responses no later than December 31st. The faster we receive responses the faster we can place our production order with the factory. Any responses received after December 31st run the risk of missing the first production order, and your shipping may be delayed as a result.
Surveys will come via email from the address [email protected]. Please check your junk mail folder if you don't receive your survey this week or next.
Also don't forget that you still have one more day to get in on our Barbells for Boobs fundraiser over at bonfire.com/virtue.

We've got a little special somethin' for you today. Charitable give-back is a core value here at VIRTUE, and while Kickstarter rules prevent us from reserving any of our campaign funds for non-profits we still want to do right by the community whenever possible. That's why we're offering up a limited run of DO MORE WITH LESS tees with 100% of the proceeds destined for Barbells for Boobs. Head over to bonfire.com/virtue to learn more, replace some of your stanky old WOD shirts, and help a great cause along the way.
Barbells for Boobs works to redefine the standard of care in breast health and improve quality of life post diagnosis, and with your purchase we can help them do just that. It's a cause near and dear to my heart, just as I'm certain it is for so many of you.
The shirts, available in both unisex and women's cuts, are $25 - which works out to about an $11 donation for every purchase (even more if we're able to sell over 100 shirts.) Shirts ordered before December 10 should arrive before Christmas or soon thereafter. Match 'em up with your favorite color of 01s, or go with the tried and true pink to proudly show your support.

Backers, followers, and well-wishers:
Thank you - for your support, your guidance, your honesty, your enthusiasm, and for your belief in us - thank you. Because of you VIRTUE is a reality. I really can't express what it means to have nearly 600 members of our amazing community put enough faith in this little-engine-that-could to make it a living, breathing company. Thank you.
In a few weeks you'll receive surveys to collect your color and size choices as well as your shipping addresses. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out here, on Instagram DM, or via email with any questions you have, and stay tuned for all of the exciting news to come. The campaign is over, and we're already headed full steam into pre-production, but we will hopefully still have a couple surprises up our sleeves.
